Privacy Policy- MCPs

Last updated: May 2026 Applies to: AideaBlocks MCP Connector for Claude

1. Data collection practices

When you use the AideaBlocks connector through Claude and other MCP clients, we collect the following information:

Account and authentication data

  • OAuth 2.0 tokens used to authenticate your session with AideaBlocks
  • Your AideaBlocks account identifier and associated email address

Usage data

  • Names and configurations of data preparation flows you create, modify, or run
  • Names of source files and data connections referenced in flows (e.g. “customers.csv”, “Google Drive1”)
  • Transformation step prompts and labels you provide when building flows
  • Artifact configurations (intent interfaces, skills, policies) you create or retrieve
  • Timestamps of flow creation, modification, and execution

Data previews

  • Row-level sample data returned when previewing flow outputs (up to 200 rows per preview call). This data originates from your connected data sources and is processed transiently to generate previews. It is not stored beyond the duration of your session.

What we do not collect

  • Full dataset contents beyond preview samples
  • Passwords or raw credentials for third-party data connections (Google Drive, Snowflake, Salesforce, etc.) — these are managed by the respective providers
  • Personal data about end users in your datasets beyond what is transiently processed during flow execution

2. Usage and storage

How we use your data

  • To authenticate and authorize your access to AideaBlocks flows, artifacts, and data connections
  • To execute data preparation flows on your behalf when invoked through Claude
  • To store and retrieve flow definitions and artifacts so they can be reused across sessions
  • To generate preview outputs from your data sources for display within Claude

Storage

  • Flow definitions, step configurations, and artifacts are stored in AideaBlocks’s cloud infrastructure (hosted on Google Cloud Platform, US region)
  • OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted form and refreshed automatically
  • Data preview samples are processed in-memory and are not persisted to disk after the session ends
  • All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256; all data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher

3. Third-party sharing

Data connections you configure AideaBlocks connects to third-party data sources on your behalf — including Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Salesforce — using credentials you provide. AideaBlocks accesses only the specific files and tables required to execute your flows. We do not share your data with these providers beyond what is necessary to fulfill your requests.

Anthropic / Claude When you use AideaBlocks through Claude, tool call inputs and outputs (including flow names, step prompts, and data previews) are passed through Anthropic’s infrastructure in accordance with Anthropic’s privacy policy. AideaBlocks does not control how Anthropic processes this information.

No sale of data AideaBlocks does not sell, rent, or trade your data or your users’ data to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

Service providers We may share data with third-party service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g. cloud hosting, monitoring, authentication). These providers are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf and in accordance with this policy.
